This design addresses the ever-increasing fluidity of modern domestic life, making a small 'complex' that encourages a blurring between 'live' and 'work' over the lifetimes of inhabitants. Cargo Fleet is clad in Cor-ten steel and larch. Cor-ten is special weathering steel that gradually turns an even purple-brown colour. The project is two volumes linked by a ramp and materials within the house are 'raw', with concrete and oak floors, unpainted plaster walls and steel stairs.
